Renton is a city built around working families. From its early days as a coal mining and manufacturing town to its role in shaping modern aviation, generations of workers and families have helped build Renton into the community it is today.

When you think about Bellevue, food insecurity probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. Bellevue is home to major employers, beautiful neighborhoods, and some of the highest household incomes in the region. But that bigger picture can make it easy to overlook people who are struggling to make ends meet.

We kicked off the new school year with our Back-to-School Campaign, and thanks to an incredible community of supporters, we raised $20,000 to help local kids start the year strong. At $7.50 per weekend food bag, those gifts will help provide more than 2,600 children with food for the weekend.
